The intent of Priority Care is to customize and coordinate your health care to your specific needs, ensuring that you get the right care, in the right form, from the right health care professional at the right time.
Our Registered nurses have worked in our community for many years, with excellent skills and understanding of the health care system. They will be working with you and your clinicians.

I have been a nurse in Humboldt County for over thirty years. I have had the honor of working with people and their families throughout the circle of life. The creative side of nursing allows me to use listening, observation and hands-on skills to create a unique relationship with each patient. Using scientific principles and learning I am able to provide guidance and care to each individual. Combining art and science has given me the skills to be a teacher, advocate and a skilled professional to help meet the needs of those I am caring for. I look forward to meeting you and partnering with you in Priority Care. |

I have been a nurse in Humboldt since 1980, and have worked with everyone from women in labor to hospice patients, from diabetes education to HIV counseling and testing. I have worked in hospitals and clinics, in public health and in people’s homes. I have a special love for helping people find their inner strengths, and an ability to help people find a path through the maze of the healthcare system. I have a deep respect for the beliefs and values of each person. I enjoy working for, and with, my patients |

My background is in mental health, where it has been a privilege to care for children and their families. I have also enjoyed assisting clients with diabetes concerns and various medication-related issues in a pharmacy setting. I have a strong interest in preventive health and enjoy working closely with patients and being a supportive advocate and accessible source of information. I look forward to serving our patients as a Priority Care RN team member. |

I have been a Registered Nurse in Humboldt County for 20 years. I have worked in a variety of community settings including hospitals, home health and weight management. I believe that people want to be healthy and I enjoy participating in the process of promoting effective lifestyle change. Working together with a blend of education, exploration and creative goal setting we can create a unique plan to increase your confidence in managing your health. I feel privileged to be a part of your path to success. |

I am a native of Humboldt County with over 30 years experience in nursing. My background includes acute hospital nursing, Family Practice, working in a Surgical Specialty office, and most recently as the director of education for Diabetes Self-Management at Health Education Alliance. My favorite activity is working with individuals, their families, and groups to help persons with diabetes understand this complicated condition and learn strategies to living a healthy life with diabetes. |
